Full day Jeep Safari with Lunch

The tour starts in Albufeira where the jeep will meet you to enjoy the tour accompanied by experienced guides who will share with you all their know ledge about the region, from traditions, history, culture and the beautiful land scapes of Algarve.

Along the tour we pass through rural paths between several fruit tree plantations, discovering some historical monuments such as Paderne Castle, one of those represented on the flag of Portugal, where you can be dazzled by the view over a Medieval bridge.
We visited a windmill “Moinho do Leitão“, with a brief explanation about its characteristic and function.
Crossing areas of cork oaks where cork is extracted for the manufacture of regional handicrafts and corks for wine, passing rural villages where we stop to taste local products such as honey and firewater, following the walk where you can dive in to the water sources in the Alte stream (subject to conditions).

After lunch we climb to the highest point of the tour to enjoy a beautiful panoramic landscape over the mountains.
